What are your eco-friendly banners made of?
Our banners are PVC free & constructed from 56% polyester scrim & 44% PA water-based coating
Can they be recycled?
Yes, they can are ROHS, REACH & LCA approved and meet EN-71, 33P standards.
Are the inks bad for the environment?
Some companies use solvent-based inks that are bad for the environment but we have opted for eco-friendly inks for our recyclable banner printing. The HP Latex inks we use are UL ECOLOGO, GREENGUARD Children & Schools Certified, and use Eco Mark-Certified ink cartridges that meet stringent environmental standards.
Why use eco-friendly banner material?
If you care about the environment then our eco banner is the solution. Although the Eco-friendly banner material is more expensive than standard PVC, when coupled with our water-based latex inks it is the greenest banner solution you can get. Our green banner material is PVC free, REACH and LCA approved to reduce the impact on the environment.
How long will my eco-friendly printed banner last?
Banners are intended for temporary signage. How long they last depend on where and how they are used. Banners used indoors will last many years. Outdoors the limiting factor will be how the banner is hung and the wind it is exposed to life span show vary between a few months and a few years.

Is the material flame retardant?
Yes. Our Eco Banner 300 is flame retardant to B1 specification
How should I look after my PVC banner?
Make sure that they do not flap against awnings, walls, or sharp edges. The banner should be taken down in high wind conditions. Generally, wind speeds of over 30mph can be damaging to your banner.
Are your banner inks suitable for indoor use as well?
We use eco-friendly latex inks which odourless making them ideal for indoor banners. Solvent banners can give off an unpleasant smell in confined areas.

Banner sizes?
One of the benefits of banners is that there are few size restrictions. Our printer can print full-colour banners in one piece up to 2.5m wide by 50m long! For wider PVC banners such as building wraps and hoardings, pieces of banner material can be welded together to create a seamless graphic, so there is pretty much no limit on banner size. Our most popular banner sizes are 10' x 3' and 8' x 2'.
Banner design tips?
Keep it simple. Often people only have seconds to see your banner. Use block letter fonts for important information rather than fancy scripts. Use dark colours on a light background or light colours on a dark background. More information on the best colour combinations can be found
Banner colour hints and tips
How will my banner be finished?
The most common finish is turned edges and eyelets. This gives you a strong banner that is easy to hang with cable ties or bungees. We also offer this banner with straight cut edges. This option can be nailed, screwed or attached with plastic eyelets.

Banner reading distances?
As a rough guide if you multiply the height of letters on your banner by 10 that would give you optimum viewing distance in feet. So a 12" letter would be fine at 120". The maximum readable distance would be about 500 feet.
