Do I need soft ground for my feather flag?

No. We have a range of bases available for solid surfaces like hard mud, tarmac and indoors. Cross bases or square metal bases for indoor use or water bases for outdoor hardstanding.

Do feather flags fade in the sun?

Even if using dye sublimation UV stable inks, prolonged exposure to the sun can make the graphics fade. How quickly it fades depends on the printed colours, the weather, and other environmental factors such as the number of hours of sunlight.

Are feather flags easy to transport?

You don’t need any tools or experience. You need a water source for filling water bases or a mallet for stake installation. The poles are delivered in sections that just slot together easily without the need for tools. The printed sail flags have a sewn pocket that simply slides over the pole. There is also an eyelet or cord in the bottom corner of the flag that is used to tension the flag to the pole.

Are the feather flags printed single or double-sided?

You can choose single or double-sided flags. The single-sided versions are print-through, which means they are printed on one side of the fabric. The design on the front is visible but mirrored on the back. Double-sided flags have a black liner to prevent show through. The design on the back can be printed so it reads the right way round.
