This is a full-time role but we can be flexible with the right candidate. You will be working with our small team, including our technical lead based in our Chichester office. Chichester train station is a 15-minute walk, but we have easy access to many bus routes and there is free on-site parking.

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and creative Digital Marketing & SEO Executive to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in crafting compelling copy for our website, managing and enhancing our social media presence, and contributing to our content creation efforts by writing informative and engaging blogs.

Beyond content creation, you will play a critical role in the technical management of our digital assets. This includes updating product listings and prices on our website, engaging with suppliers, utilising spreadsheets for data organisation and analysis, and generating reports to track performance and market trends. Your ability to navigate various digital marketing tools and platforms will be essential for maintaining the accuracy and competitiveness of our online presence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and update products on our website.
  • Write and optimise product descriptions for our website.
  • Communicate with suppliers to ensure marketing materials are accurate and effective.
  • Research market trends to support business strategies.
  • Create engaging blog content that aligns with our brand and business objectives.
  • Assist in managing our social media accounts and campaigns.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of email marketing campaigns.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong writing skills, capable of producing both creative blog content and precise product copy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and a willingness to learn new tools and software.
  • Ability to conduct independent research and apply findings effectively.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in written materials and data entries.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with social media management and strategy.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and online marketing techniques.
  • Previous experience in or knowledge of the e-commerce industry, including SEO, content creation, and email marketing.
  • Familiarity with Magento for managing product listings and inventory.
  • Competency with SEMrush, Canva, and Adobe Photoshop.
